Colton Harris-Moore (born March 22, 1991), better known as Colt in his home town, is an 18-year-old fugitive from Camano Island, Washington. He is suspected in the theft of at least three small aircraft, a boat, and a car, and in the burglaries of at least 50 private residences in various locations around the Pacific Northwest of the United States and Canada.

Because he has been observed running from the police barefoot (perhaps to conceal his footprints) he has been dubbed “the Barefoot Burglar”. He is 6 feet and 5 inches tall.

In addition to numerous burglaries, Colton has allegedly stolen three airplanes by hot-wiring them and then crash-landing them. He once went to a house to have a shower and stole ice cream from the refrigerator, and has also used a computer and stolen credit card in a house to purchase a pair of night vision goggles, among other things, on the internet. After his numerous escapes from police, he left a note to the police declaring “war” on them and broke into a police car and stole a rifle. Therefore, he is now considered armed and dangerous.
